East Burke School
EAST BURKE SCHOOL is a not-for-profit independent school for curious students in grades 8-12. We're located in the quaint village of East Burke, VT near the Kingdom Trails network, Passumpsic River, and Burke Mountain.
"Many highly talented, brilliant, creative people think they're not - because the thing they were good at in school wasn't valued, or was actually stigmatized."

Personalized Learning
Our curriculum includes our students' passions, hobbies, and interests. We encourage them to identify an area of special interest and make it a part of their high school experience. In the past, students have taken advantage of this in the fields of culinary arts, ski racing, music, horseback riding, web page design, and mountain bike racing. The possibilities are endless!
Small Class Sizes
We are committed to remaining small. Our maximum enrollment is 18 students. Our class sizes range from 1-8 students. This allows us to truly focus on each student's academic, social, and emotional growth.
What sets us apart?
