RESILIENCE
EBS is pioneering education in climate and community resilience. Together with parents and local partners, we are raising the next generation of Vermonters to steward our land and communities for the sake of generations to come.
THE NEK'S FREE MICROSCHOOL
With no more than 18 students,
we are the region’s only state-approved microschool for grades 8-12, providing local students with a free, rigorous education through School Choice in the heart of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.
School Choice
Because our region lacks a public option, Vermont law grants families tuition funding to enroll students in the high school of their choice. Tuition for full-time enrollment at EBS is $20,910 for the 2025-2026 academic year, covered entirely for students in School Choice towns at no additional cost to families.
