East Burke School Annual Fund

A number of community members and alumni help keep East Burke School thriving through annual financial contributions.  Join their ranks--support our current and future students by donating today!

Fundraising Events

Each April, EBS hosts its annual Spring Fling Adult Prom, welcoming a 21+ crowd to shake off the winter blues with a night of dancing.  Have young ones?  Drop them off at EBS for free child care provided by our students. Don't miss out on the fun!  Spring '24 date TBD.

Visit our farm stand later in the year at Burke's Fall Foliage Festival, where you can enjoy school-grown veggies and fresh-pressed cider made by our students with apples they themselves harvested.  Baked goods and school merchandise are available, too!  Stop by this fall—the festival is always held on the last Saturday in September.

In-Kind Donations

Have a spare guitar lying around?  How about a wood burning kit?  Perhaps a set of snowshoes?  EBS students are always looking to broaden their repertoire and explore new learning opportunities.  We may have the perfect use for your unwanted items.  Just reach out to ask!

Part of what makes learning at EBS so exciting is the time donated by local experts to visit campus and engage with our students.  We have been fortunate to host visitors for various craft-, college-, and career-based workshops, including wood lathing, guitar basics, riparian restoration, and more.  Have a skill you'd like to pass on to our students?  Please reach out!

Interested in making a contribution that will not only support our work financially, but also get the word out about our school?  Stop by the little blue schoolhouse or the Northeast Kingdom Country Store to purchase EBS merchandise.  We currently have hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and stickers sporting the school's logo.
